HBR is without a doubt one of the best POS products on the market. It comes with everything you’d expect from a premium POS system (inventory control, order management, etc.) and a lot more - table side ordering, online reservations, online ordering, and keyword tags. It’s also connected to the cloud to ensure you always have the latest updates and can manage your business from anywhere in the world.

Android Engineer

HOT

We are looking for an experienced and talented Android engineer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will be part of our technology group, responsible for design of then next generation Point Of Sale (POS) product and consumer mobile applications.  You will contribute to design and architectural evolution of the product, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and complete customizations based on consumer’s feedback, participate in product performance optimization initiatives and other software development activities with an ultimate goal of delivering highly engaging, robust and reliable business and consumer applications.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of Android experience;
  • Current knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies;
  • Experience with Kotlin, RxJava, Dagger2, MVVM, Android architectural components and Espresso;
  • At least 1 year of experience with RESTful APIs for data transmission;
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our small team in Vilnius. You will work closely with business and engineering teams on architecting and deploying new big data solutions, developing big-data configurations, architectural diagrams as needed. You will be expected to stay current with new development in big data and propose enhancements to the big data stack.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced in implementing enterprise Data engineering & Analytic solutions in a complex environment.
  • Experience with SQL, RDBMS and NoSQL.
  • Experience in designing and implementing the data architecture and ETL strategies.
  • Good understanding of AWS S3 and AWS Redshift.
  • Knowledge of Java, Scala, Python, Pig, Hive or other relevant programming languages would be considered as an advantage.
  • Bonus - knowledge of Apache Nifi.

Backend Engineer (Node.js)

The Lead Management System (LMS) is the workhorse of Shift4 Payments’ entire salesforce: as a member of our team, you will take part in crafting the sales workflow for US industry leaders such as Harbortouch, POSitouch, Future POS, and Restaurant Manager. It's an advanced lead management, reporting, communication, and operations tool that’s woven into the infrastructure of our corporation. Built to bring the efficiency of thousands of our dealers to a whole new level, LMS helps us drive the value and intelligence of our corporation and integrates with a vast ecosystem of internal CRM tools.

We’re building this greenfield project with all those exciting technologies everyone keeps talking about: React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, and AWS. Our freedom, flexibility, and enterprise-level commitment to quality makes it possible for us to deliver a truly great product—there’s no time for mediocrity. Working with us, you’ll have a chance to participate in all aspects of product development, from writing code to facilitating processes and helping come up with features.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be joining a small dedicated Scrum team which feels more like a family than anything else. We value openness, growth, responsibility, and teamwork, and we hope that you have the same attitude.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience building commercial software;
  • At least 1 year of Javascript and related tools like: NodeJS, ExpressJS, PostgreSQL.

QA Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team in building a cohesive and quality solution by conducting thorough manual testing (functional testing, regression testing, integration testing);
  • Estimation, prioritization, planning of testing activities;
  • System configuration and preparation of test data sets;
  • Maintaining regression test suite;
  • Consult with other QAs what manual tests should be automated.

We hope You:

  • Have at least +3 years of working experience as a QA;
  • Have experience using issue and project tracking tools such as Jira;
  • Have Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
  • Understand software development lifecycle process;
  • Have passion about the quality and attention to details;
  • Are a great communicator who can express their thoughts well in English and feels comfortable moderating dialogues with cross-functional perspectives;
  • Are willing to learn test automation.

Would be a great plus if You have:

  • ISTQB certificate;
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium or similar;
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge in at least one of the relevant languages: JAVA, Kotlin, C#, Javascript;

UAB "Shift4 Payments Lithuania“ is implementing a training project partly funded by EU, titled as „Improving UAB "Harbortouch Payments Lithuania" employees‘ competence, knowledge and skills“. 90 employees are planning to participate in trainings. The planned trainings are:

- External trainings for learning English language as well as improving specific skills in customer service and IT areas;
- Internal trainings for improving specific skills in customer service and IT areas.

By participating in trainings, employees of UAB "Shift 4 Payments Lithuania“ will improve their knowledge and competence, which will help them to increase the quality of their work responsibilities.

A project is partly funded by European Social Fund Agency based on 2014-2020 European Union Funds program’s priority No. 9 „Educating society and improving potential of human resources“ 09.4.3-ESFA-T-846 „Trainings for foreign investors‘ employees“.

A total value of a project is 587 326 EUR, from which 293 663 EUR is funded by European Social Fund Agency and 293 663 EUR is own contribution. Project activities were first implemented in September 2017.
